I love the look of wearing a large shawl with the pointed end facing front. Living in a warm climate, however, I don’t get to bring out my heavy knits very often. I designed this light scarf to mimic the look of a large shawl worn to the front. It is knit flat and then buttoned to form a triangle shawl without any ends dangling or adding bulk under your jacket. A perfect transitional piece with a light layer of warmth. It can also double as a small shawl for a young child or shoulder wrap! Have fun trying out all the ways it can be buttoned and worn. This color is a lovely muted plum. It's a little difficult to photograph so I have included the manufacturer picture of the yarn color as the last pic. Finished measurements: 17inches from bottom tip to top, 44 inches wide 6 buttons give you possibilities to button your Shawl with more or less drape. You can button it through the Lace eyelets or regular stitches. Knitting is stretchy, so just ease the stitch around the button and it will fit. Yarn: 52%acrylic, 8% nylon, 40% wool. Very soft, rustic and warm! Machine wash in cold water on delicate cycle or hand wash. Lay flat to dry.
