This pattern was inspired by the awesome Graffiti yarn color way from Spun Right Round. I wanted to create something that would show off all the colors of speckled yarn and have a subtle texture to it. The dark grey openwork reminds me of a chain link fence and gives contrast to the vibrant colors of the graffiti much like you would see along urban alleyways and back buildings. A bright playfulness on brick walls with bumps and layers of paint, marked off and contained by dark streets, shadows and fences.
