The Confetti Shawl is perfect for diving into your stash for those awesome single skeins of yarn you bought on impulse and it’s also a great excuse to keep buying them! It’s a fantastic gift to knit up for friends. It can be worked up quickly on size 10 needles. The Confetti stitches are fun and give visual texture. They bring out the variations of hand dyed, speckled or variegated yarns beautifully and show off your knitting skills too. Each one you make will be fun and unique! 400 yards of fingering weight yarn needed. Single ply was used for the sample but any of your favorites will work great!
Suggested yarn weight: fingering/sock weight
Color Used in Sample: 1 skein of Madeline Tosh Mo Light in Baudelaire colorway.
1 stitch marker needed.
Finished measurements after blocking: 23 inches from bottom tip to top, 64 inches wide. Shawl is asymmetrical.
