Lately I've been learning to watercolor and I find my favorite source of inspiration has been in my other hobby. The colors of yarn are always so beautiful and I find myself trying to recreate the mix of colors in my paintings.
Sheep, of course, are always adorable and it turns out, so fun to watercolor!
Knitted garments always make me feel happy, warm, and cozy and I really enjoyed trying to convey that same feeling with paint and brush.
As I continue to learn one craft, I find my greatest source of inspiration comes from another. I also think about how I can mix colors in my knitting projects and create palettes for shawls and scarves that go beyond what I'm used to. One inspires the other.
